GERMOCID DENTAL UNITS Medical Device is a concentrated solution at pH> 10
effective both as a detergent and as a disinfectant even in the presence of or
ganic material (blood, saliva, etc.), and is specifically designed for use in the wa
ter circuits of the dental units and in the centralized suction systems. It is active
against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria (also Legionella), fungi
(moulds and yeasts), mycobacteria (TBC) and encapsulated viruses (HIV, HBV,
HCV).
GERMOCID DENTAL UNITS helps to break up the biofilm made up of bacterial
cells, cell debris and organic residues which develops in humid environment and
which grows rapidly where, in addition to humidity, it finds good situations such
as temperature and anchoring. The water that flows in the water pipes of the
dental units contains mineral substances that are deposited on the internal sur
faces of the tubes, forming a rough surface to which adhere the bacteria present
in suspension in the water supplied by the public service. The constant use of

tion of bacteria, algae, protozoa, fungi and viruses and all infectious pathogens
